During a recent church service, Bishop David Oyedepo, founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, addressed rumors regarding the funding of the church’s aircraft. He emphasized that the aircraft was acquired through divine means, not through congregational offerings. He stated, “He (God) bought the first aircraft without any prayer, without any idea that the aircraft was coming. He said it, he delivered it nobody had any pressure on his life. There was no pressure on the offering. The offering didn’t buy it oo! God bought it.”
Bishop Oyedepo further explained that the acquisition was unexpected and not part of any prior plans, highlighting it as a manifestation of divine provision. He noted that the aircraft was not intended for short trips but was used extensively across Africa, underscoring the church’s mission work on the continent.
This clarification comes amid public speculation about the sources of funding for the church’s assets, with Bishop Oyedepo attributing such blessings to faith and divine intervention.
