Senator Ben Murray-Bruce, Chairman of the Silverbird Group, has vowed that Nigeria will host the 2025 Miss Universe pageant if Chidimma Adetshina, the newly-crowned Miss Universe Nigeria, wins the global title this year.
In a statement posted on his X handle on Tuesday, Bruce assured that his company would spare no effort in securing Nigeria's place as the host nation for the prestigious event. He emphasized that lessons learned from their previous attempt to host Miss World in 2002 would prevent any repeat of past challenges.
"If Chidimma Adetshina clinches the @MissUniverse crown, rest assured, The Silverbird Group will spare no expense or effort to bring the next Miss Universe pageant to Nigeria in 2025," Bruce declared, adding that Nigeria is ready to reclaim its rightful place on the global stage.
Chidimma Adetshina recently won the Miss Universe Nigeria title after being forced to withdraw from the Miss South Africa contest due to scrutiny over her nationality.
