BBNaija star Mercy Eke has candidly shared the reasons behind her decision to undergo a Brazilian butt lift (BBL) and other cosmetic procedures, admitting that "peer pressure" played a significant role in her choice.
Speaking on the latest episode of the "Love is a Game" show, Eke explained that back in 2018, when she first considered the surgery, getting a BBL was the trend, and many around her were doing it. "To be very truthful, it was the trend at the time. Peer pressure, and everyone was doing it. I had a very good form, but my stomach was too much," she confessed.
Despite her fears and the intense pain that followed the procedure, including not being able to sleep on her back for two weeks and enduring painful massages, Eke insists the experience was worth it.
She also addressed rumors about having work done on her face, clarifying that she only had lip fillers, which dissolve after a few months, and reiterated that her other surgeries were strictly body-focused. "People keep saying that I touched my face, so I keep posting throwbacks for them to see. I have only touched my lips," she noted.
Mercy Eke concluded by emphasizing her satisfaction with her choices, stating, "My bum is the softest you would ever touch; it's just fat, so it feels like water."
