Barcelona will continue playing their home matches at the Olympic Stadium for the rest of the season as renovation work on Camp Nou progresses, the club confirmed on Thursday.

Initially, the club had hoped to return to their iconic stadium before the end of the season, following an earlier delay that pushed their comeback beyond 2024.

Barcelona informed fans that tickets for the remaining La Liga and Champions League games would be available for purchase at the Olympic Stadium, where the team has been playing since the 2023-24 season.

When Camp Nou reopens next season, it will have an initial capacity of over 60,000. The full renovation, expected to be completed by summer 2026, will expand the stadium’s capacity to 105,000.

The renovation project, which began in June 2023, faced delays due to permit issues and concerns over working conditions.
