Asake has achieved incredible success in the United Kingdom, with all three of his albums reaching the top spot on the UK Apple Music Album Chart, making him the only Nigerian artist to accomplish this.
His recent sold-out concert at the O2 Arena further highlights his growing popularity in the UK, placing him alongside Afrobeats stars like Davido and Wizkid, who have also sold out the O2 Arena more than once.
The O2 Arena has become a significant venue for showcasing the global rise of Afrobeats. In 2018, Davido made history as the first Nigerian solo artist to headline the O2 Arena. Wizkid followed in 2019, and then returned for an unprecedented three consecutive sold-out shows in 2021.
