Arsenal are set to meet with the agents of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen to discuss a possible summer transfer, according to CaughtOffside.
Osimhen, currently on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, is among the options Arsenal are considering to strengthen their attack. However, RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko and Sporting CP’s Viktor Gyokeres are reportedly higher on their wishlist.
The Gunners are searching for a prolific goal-scorer to boost their Premier League title hopes. Osimhen has impressed at Galatasaray this season, scoring 22 goals and providing five assists in 28 matches across all competitions.
The 26-year-old has a €75m release clause, making him an attractive target for top clubs. Manchester United, Chelsea, and Paris Saint-Germain are also monitoring his situation. Despite United’s struggles and the possibility of missing out on Champions League football, Osimhen is reportedly open to a move to Old Trafford.
Last summer, Chelsea and PSG were strongly linked with Osimhen before his unexpected loan switch to Turkey. Both clubs remain interested in signing him permanently.
At Galatasaray, Osimhen has played a key role in their title challenge, but recent poor results—including a 3-3 draw with Kasimpasa—have weakened their grip on the top spot in the Turkish Super Lig.
Napoli are reportedly keen on selling Osimhen permanently this summer, which could spark a bidding war among Europe’s elite clubs.
