Nigerian singer Adekunle Gold has responded to a social media user who mocked his looks in a throwback photo.
The critic, identified as Dami Foreign on X, posted an old picture of the singer and his wife, Simi, questioning how he managed to win her heart despite being “broke and ugly.”
“How did Adekunle Gold win Simi’s heart when he was broke and ugly?” the post read.
In response, the ‘Party No Dey Stop’ crooner simply wrote: “I was never ugly.”
