Nollywood actress Jumoke George has issued a stern warning to Nigerian women, urging them to reconsider undergoing Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) surgeries. In a post on her Instagram page, the actress expressed concern over the unnecessary risks women take in pursuit of enhanced physical features.
Jumoke's comments come in the wake of the recent arrest of a Lagos-based medical doctor, Idara Bassey, who was linked to the death of a 36-year-old woman named Abiola during a botched BBL surgery.
Reacting to the tragic incident, the actress questioned the rationale behind such procedures, suggesting that women who undergo BBL might be doubting God's design. She wrote, "Women, what exactly is our problem? If I say I understand, I'd be lying. The scripture tells us that every creature is made in God's image."
She further challenged women, asking, "Whose image do you think you were created in? Are you telling God that He doesn’t know what He was doing? God is perfect. What are we still searching for? Some have been blessed with long life, but they choose to cut it short deliberately."
