OAP Nedu has denied allegations linking him to drug dealings and fraud, following a petition filed against him by social media critic, VeryDarkMan (VDM).

VDM revealed in an Instagram post on Wednesday that he submitted petitions to the South African, Turkish, and Moroccan embassies in Abuja, urging them to investigate Nedu’s alleged involvement in illegal activities.

In a video, VDM claimed that the media personality has close ties with fraudsters and drug dealers in the three countries. He also shared an alleged audio recording where a voice, said to be Nedu’s, mentioned having “yahoo guys who can die for me.”

“I just got to the South African embassy. I have a flash drive and a petition requesting an investigation into a Nigerian named Nedu Wazobia and his friends for fraud and drug-related crimes,” VDM said.

Responding on Instagram, Nedu dismissed the claims, insisting the voice in the recording was not his.

“This is not a joke anymore! I know nothing about that voice note going around! I didn’t make that voice note,” he wrote. “While this seems to be fun and games, I have never and will never be part of anything criminal!”

The accusations come after VDM previously accused Nedu of sexual exploitation and fraud, which led to the OAP stepping down as a co-host of The Honest Bunch podcast.

In response to the allegations, Nedu has served VDM a pre-action notice for defamation, demanding N500 million in damages.
