Nollywood actress Dayo Amusa has candidly shared the emotional and physical challenges she faced on her path to becoming a mother. In a recent interview with fellow actress Debbie Shokoya, Amusa recounted a poignant moment when she broke down in tears in front of her domestic staff, singing passionately as she poured out her heart to her Creator. She described issuing an ultimatum to God, expressing her exhaustion from numerous medical examinations and surgeries, and pleading for the fulfillment of His promise to her.
Amusa welcomed her first child, a son, in November 2024. She announced his arrival on social media, expressing gratitude and joy. Shortly after, she shared a lovely photo of her newborn, dressed in a blue outfit with a sign that read, “Hello World! Mom and dad, I listened to you for 9 months, finally I can see you.”
Following her son’s birth, some speculated about the possibility of surrogacy. To address these rumors, Amusa’s friend, Adebanks, posted a video compilation featuring photos of the actress during her pregnancy, thereby debunking the surrogacy claims.
