Arsenal's Ethan Nwaneri has set a new Premier League record, surpassing his teammate Bukayo Saka, during the Gunners' 2-0 victory over Leicester City.

The 17-year-old, who has been impressive this season under Mikel Arteta, became the youngest player to complete five or more dribbles and provide an assist in a single Premier League match at the age of 17 years and 331 days. This achievement breaks the previous record set by Saka at 18 years and 164 days against Newcastle in 2020.

Nwaneri has made 24 appearances for Arsenal this season and is playing a significant role in the team’s campaign. Last month, he also became the second-youngest English player to score in the Champions League and the second-youngest Arsenal player to score in the Premier League, following Cesc Fabregas.

Arsenal are currently seven points behind league leaders Liverpool and Nwaneri is expected to be a key player as they continue their pursuit of the Premier League title this season.
