Nigerian actress and filmmaker Omoni Oboli, alongside her husband Nnamdi Oboli, recently shared insights into their enduring marriage. In an episode of Pulse Fun Facts, the couple discussed their journey since marrying on October 28, 2000, highlighting both challenges and the keys to their lasting relationship.

When asked if she ever contemplated ending their marriage, Omoni responded, “No, I’ve never.” She admitted to moments of questioning their early union, saying, “I’ve had moments where I was like, ‘Why did I get married so early?’ but never ‘I’m done.’ Ever.”

Reflecting on their early years, the couple recalled frequent arguments, attributing them to not having dated prior to marriage. Omoni explained, “When we first got married, we quarreled every single day… It’s because we didn’t date… So, that first month, we were really just getting to know each other well.”

Nnamdi emphasized the importance of responsibility in marriage, advising young couples that “Marriage is a responsibility… You are the relationship. It’s between two people; you have to make it work.”

The Obolis’ reflections offer valuable insights into building and maintaining a strong marital bond.
