Nigerian socialite Cubana Chief Priest recently took to Instagram to shade Burna Boy following his loss at the 67th Grammy Awards. Burna Boy was nominated alongside Tems, Asake, and Wizkid for the Best African Music Performance category, with Tems ultimately securing the award.
In his post, Cubana Chief Priest implied that if American music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs were not incarcerated, Tems might have been deprived of her win. He wrote, “If to say Diddy dey outside, dem for use Johnson baby oil rub away her Grammy.” This comment references Burna Boy’s association with Diddy, who was recently arrested on multiple charges, including sexual exploitation.
