Nigerian singer Speed Darlington has announced plans to pursue a ₦300 million compensation from the Nigeria Police, citing violations of his human rights during a recent two-month detention.

Expressing gratitude to his lawyer, Mazi David Ihuoma, for unwavering support, Speed Darlington recounted that despite being granted bail by the court, he remained in custody due to alleged interference from higher authorities. Determined to seek justice, he stated, “I will stop at nothing to get my ₦300 million compensation for the violation of my rights.” This isn’t his first legal endeavor; he previously engaged in a high-profile case against a financial institution.
