CHAN 2024: Nigeria drawn in group d with Sudan, Senegal, and Congo

Nigeria’s home-based Super Eagles are set to compete in Group D of the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) alongside defending champions Senegal, Congo, and Sudan.

The draw took place on Wednesday night at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi, Kenya, and has heightened excitement ahead of the tournament.

This year’s competition marks Nigeria’s return to CHAN after a six-year absence, bringing hope and enthusiasm to fans and football stakeholders.

Group Lineups:

Group A: Kenya, Morocco, DR Congo, and Zambia.

Group B: Tanzania, Madagascar, Mauritania, Burkina Faso, and the Central African Republic.

Group C: Co-hosts Uganda, Niger, and Guinea, with two more teams to be added later.

The tournament will be co-hosted by Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.
