Rapper Meek Mill is in the spotlight again, but this time, it’s for a bold business proposition. With TikTok’s future in the U.S. hanging by a thread, the rapper threw out an unexpected pitch: he wants to buy the app.

On Monday night, Meek tweeted, "Sell TikTok to me," following it up with another post suggesting alternatives if the platform gets axed: "If they cut off TikTok we going X and FANBASE." The audacious tweets set social media ablaze, sparking a wave of mockery from fans who couldn’t resist trolling the rapper. One user wrote, "Meek Mill pls im not in the mood rn," while others coined the term "MeekTok," roasting his sudden interest in tech ventures.

While the thought of Meek owning TikTok might seem far-fetched, it’s not the first time he’s aimed to flex his entrepreneurial muscles. Mentored by business heavyweights like Michael Rubin and JAY-Z, the rapper has openly credited their influence in shaping his career mindset. Speaking with Business Insider, Meek once said, "He actually built something. I watched that, and I studied that. That's why I'm working the way I'm working now to build a foundation for myself too."

But despite his efforts to make moves beyond music, this latest pitch didn’t land well. Meek’s online missteps have a history of backfiring, as seen with his attempt to address the L.A. wildfires, which many accused of being tone-deaf and self-serving.

The internet remains undefeated, and this time, Meek Mill’s ambitious dreams of tech dominance became the butt of the joke. Whether it’s "MeekTok" or another surprise venture, only time will tell if he can silence the critics.
