Nigerian singer Mr. May D has shed light on his fallout with P-Square, attributing it to a missed opportunity with international artist Akon. In a recent interview, May D recounted that during the “Chop My Money” video shoot, Akon expressed interest in collaborating with him and even offered potential deals. May D explained that Akon insisted on his presence for the video shoot in America, stating that without him, the shoot wouldn’t proceed. During his visit, Akon personally invited him to his office, expressing a desire to work together and providing his contact information for future collaborations. Trusting his associates, May D shared this development with P-Square upon his return to Nigeria. In hindsight, he believes that disclosing Akon’s interest to P-Square may have contributed to their subsequent estrangement.

This revelation offers insight into the dynamics between May D and P-Square, highlighting how potential international collaborations can influence relationships within the music industry.
