Arsenal is considering signing Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze to replace injured Bukayo Saka. Saka hurt his hamstring during Arsenal's 5-1 win over Crystal Palace and could be out until February.
The injury happened within 25 minutes of the match, forcing Saka to leave on crutches. While surgery was not needed, which would have sidelined him for six months, his absence is still a big blow for the team.
Reports from sportwitness say Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta is looking at options, with Chukwueze, currently playing for AC Milan, being a top target. Chukwueze was recently linked to Aston Villa, and Milan reportedly sees Arsenal as the "most interesting option" for the 25-year-old winger.
Milan may be open to selling Chukwueze for the €20 million-plus €8 million fee they paid in 2023. Alongside Arsenal and Villa, a move back to Spain's La Liga is also possible.
For now, no official offers have been made, but things could change soon.
