Africa Magic and MultiChoice have announced the call for entries for the 11th Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCAs).
Executive Head of Content and Channels for West Africa at MultiChoice, Busola Tejumola shared this in a statement on Monday.
She said entries opened on Monday and will close on January 31, 2025.
The AMVCAs celebrate outstanding talent, creativity, and innovation in African film, TV, and entertainment, highlighting the best storytellers, actors, and production professionals on the continent.
“Consequently, filmmakers, producers, production companies, and creators are encouraged to submit films, made-for-television movies, or television series that were broadcast or publicly screened from Dec. 1 to Dec. 31, for a chance to be recognised at Africa’s most prestigious awards event.
“The awards have become a beacon of excellence, celebrating the vibrancy and diversity of African storytelling.
“We are excited to once again open the doors for talented creatives across the continent to showcase their remarkable work to the world,” she said.
Tejumola said that the 11th AMVCA promised to be a spectacular celebration of African entertainment, giving talented creatives their flowers and creating unforgettable memories.
She explained that the event would be broadcast live on Africa Magic channels across the continent, bringing the glitz and glamour of the awards to millions of viewers.
