Ademola Lookman, Barbra Banda, and Ronwen Williams stole the spotlight at the 2024 CAF Awards in Marrakech, Morocco, on Monday night, celebrating the finest in African football.

Lookman, the Nigerian sharpshooter lighting up Serie A with Atalanta, clinched the coveted CAF Player of the Year (Men) award, cementing his status as one of the continent's brightest stars.

Zambia’s Barbra Banda, a relentless force for Orlando Pride, was crowned CAF Player of the Year (Women), a nod to her remarkable performances that have set her apart on the global stage.

Other standout winners included Nigeria’s Chiamaka Nnadozie, who bagged the CAF Goalkeeper of the Year (Women) award for her heroics between the posts, and Senegal’s Lamine Camara, who was named CAF Young Player of the Year (Men), proving the future of African football is in safe hands.

The night was a celebration of talent, grit, and the undeniable rise of African excellence on the world stage.
