Manchester United have reportedly made a new approach for Super Eagles star Victor Osimhen as they seek a replacement for Marcus Rashford and Joshua Zirkzee.
Sources close to the transfer situation revealed that the Nigeria international had emerged as a top target for new United manager Ruben Amorim, who left both Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho out of his squad for Sunday’s Manchester derby.
The 25-year-old, currently on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, has been in scintillating form in Turkey, netting 10 goals and providing five assists in 13 appearances across all competitions.
Paris Saint-Germain are keeping an eye on the situation and may pursue the Nigerian striker if Marcus Rashford, who has caught the French club’s attention, leaves Manchester United for them.
Chelsea have also joined the competition for Victor Osimhen, with reports suggesting the London club might be a more appealing option than United due to their current form.
The striker’s loan agreement with Turkish league leaders Galatasaray includes a break clause in January, which could allow for a mid-season transfer. However, his future remains unclear as several top European clubs show interest.
