Multiple reports revealed that Davido has broken the record for the most-watched TikTok livestream in Africa with 389,800 viewers in total.
This was achieved during a livestream co-hosted by TikToke stars, Peller, Jarvis and Jo Blaq on Wednesday, October 30.
Over 164,000 people simultaneously watched the stream live.
He further received over 377 lion gifts on TikTok. Each lion cost $400. And de disclosed that the money would be given to the co-hosts Peller, Jarvis and Jo Blaq.
Meanwhile, checks by 9jaonline Magazine reveal that the assertion of 389k views on TikTok live stream in Africa is not the highest recorded in Nigeria or Africa.
As a matter of fact, Peller, who hosted the singer holds a record of over 545,000 as a stand-alone TikTok live streamer.
Burna Boy has also recorded over 400,000 streams in a live show with Apple Music.
