Social media influencer Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has filed an appeal application with the Lagos High Court following an October 14, 2024 ruling by Justice Matthias Dawodu. The court ordered him to delete a video and comments deemed defamatory against renowned Human Rights Activist Femi Falana, SAN, and his son, musician and activist Folarin, also known as Falz.

The alleged defamation stems from a recorded conversation claiming that Falana and Falz received N10 million from crossdresser Idris Okuneye (Bobrisky) to obstruct justice. VeryDarkMan’s appeal seeks to overturn the court’s mandate to remove the contentious content.
