Former Manchester United and Fenerbahce coach Jose Mourinho has said he is willing to coach any team at the bottom of the English Premier League for two years.

In an interview with Skysports after a recent match against Manchester United in the Europa League, Mourinho stated, “The best thing I can do is, when I leave Fenerbahce, go to a club that doesn’t play in the UEFA competition. If any club in England from the bottom of the table needs a coach in two years, I’m ready to go.”

Mourinho expressed frustration after receiving a red card during the match. He criticized the referee for his decision, saying the referee claimed he could see both a penalty situation and Mourinho’s behavior at the same time. Mourinho jokingly praised the referee's “incredible” vision.

Previously, Mourinho received a four-game European ban for insulting a referee after his Roma team lost to Sevilla in the Europa League final in May 2023. He mentioned that this was why he would not appeal his recent red card.

In the match, Manchester United took an early lead with a goal from Christian Eriksen in the 15th minute, but Youssef En-Nesyri equalized for Fenerbahce in the 49th minute. The draw leaves Fenerbahce unbeaten with five points from three games. Mourinho believed his team deserved a better result and praised their performance despite challenges.

Mourinho led Manchester United to win the Europa League in 2017 during his time there and took the Fenerbahce job this pa

st offseason.
