In a candid interview with BET Africa, singer Skales opened up about a surprising regret: not having multiple baby mamas. The artist revealed that he feels the heavy burden of being the last surviving member of his family, especially following the death of his mother.
“I really regret not having baby mamas because I am the only person in my family’s bloodline that is alive right now,” Skales confessed. He emphasized that the responsibility to carry on his family lineage now rests solely on his shoulders.
Reflecting on his mother’s passing in October 2022, he stated, “When my mother died, I realized that there is not much of my bloodline left.”
Skales, who married Precious Njeng-Njeng in May 2021, welcomed their first child in March 2023. His revelation has sparked discussions about the pressures of family legacy in today’s society.
