Rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs is set to appear before a new judge, Arun Subramanian, in his sex-trafficking and racketeering case.

Diddy, arrested on September 16, has pleaded not guilty to the 14-page federal indictment. He's accused of sexually abusing over 120 people, including a 9-year-old boy.

At Thursday's hearing, lawyers will discuss trial deadlines. Diddy's team wants the trial to start in April or May 2025, but prosecutors haven't specified a preferred date.

Subramanian took over the case after another judge recused himself due to past associations with lawyers involved.

Diddy remains in jail after two judges deemed him a threat to the community and witness tampering. His mother, Janice Combs, defended him, saying he's "not the monster people have painted him to be."
