In a shocking turn of events, lawyer and activist Deji Adeyanju has confirmed that rapper Speed Darlington, who had been missing since Friday, was arrested in Lagos and transferred to the Force Headquarters in Abuja.
Adeyanju revealed on X that the arrest stems from a formal complaint filed by none other than Burna Boy. He stated, “We just spent the last 30 minutes with Speed Darlington, who detailed how he was taken into custody in Lagos and moved around before arriving in Abuja. The petition against him was indeed written by Burna Boy.”
This revelation comes on the heels of Speed Darlington’s mother accusing Burna Boy and his team of being behind her son’s disappearance. Tensions escalated when Darlington previously questioned the legitimacy of Burna Boy’s Grammy award and drew controversial connections between him and the troubled American singer Diddy.
