Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has addressed allegations made by fashion designer @stitchesbyandra, who accused her, Annie Idibia, and Gabriel Anthony of owing millions of naira for over a year.
The designer took to Instagram to express her frustration, calling out the trio for allegedly failing to settle the debt. In her post, she stated, “@toyin_abraham @annieidibia1 @gabrielanthonys, my patience is running out already. 1 year and 2 months. How can you be with someone’s millions and feel so reluctant?”
In response, Toyin Abraham swiftly denied the claims, clarifying the situation on her social media. She explained that during the production of her movie Malaika, Gabriel introduced the designer to contribute dresses for a runway scene. Abraham stated that she returned the dresses to Gabriel after the shoot, and they were later borrowed by another party, absolving her of any responsibility.
She further expressed disappointment at being dragged into the issue and assured her fans of her integrity in business dealings. Toyin promised to provide screenshots of her conversation with Gabriel to clear any remaining confusion.
In her words, “I have no outstanding debts with this designer, and the dresses were returned as agreed. I hope this explanation sets the record straight.”
