Popular Nigerian singer Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, better known as Skales, has revealed that he wrote several hit songs for his former label mate, Wizkid, during their time at Empire Mates Entertainment (EME). Speaking on the show Curiosity Made Me Ask, Skales claimed to have co-written tracks on Wizkid’s debut album Superstar, including the bonus track “Wiz Party.”
He also admitted that Wizkid wrote some songs for him, including the hit “Mukulu.” Skales emphasized that their time at EME was all about teamwork, where they frequently collaborated on each other’s music.
Wizkid and Skales were both signed to EME by music executive Banky W, and though the label propelled them to fame, they later parted ways after disagreements with the label.
