Maverick singer Seun Kuti has revealed his involvement in the ongoing feud between controversial cross-dresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, and social media influencer Martins Vincent Otse, aka VeryDarkMan.
Earlier this week, VeryDarkMan released an audio recording allegedly featuring Bobrisky, where the cross-dresser claimed to have bribed Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) officials with N15 million to drop money laundering charges against him. In the recording, Bobrisky also claimed he never spent a day in prison after being sentenced to six months, stating that his godfather arranged for him to serve his term in a lodge rather than in jail.
However, Bobrisky denied these claims, stating that the viral recording was fake and asserting that he did serve his sentence in prison.
Reacting to the situation, Seun Kuti disclosed that he was the first person VeryDarkMan informed about the recording. During an Instagram Live session, Kuti stated, "You all are late to the party. I was the first person VeryDarkMan told about the story. I gave him the go-ahead to expose Bobrisky."
Meanwhile, the EFCC has summoned both Bobrisky and VeryDarkMan to its Lagos office to provide further information regarding the N15 million bribery allegations against the agency's personnel.
