Nollywood star Kate Henshaw has voiced her frustration over the recent electricity restrictions and tariff hikes in Nigeria. Taking to Twitter, the actress criticized the controversial banding system for electricity distribution and labeled it as exploitation.
In her post, Henshaw expressed disbelief over the system: "I have said it before, and I repeat, this banding of electricity is pure theft. Nowhere in the world is there Band A or whatever alphabet for electricity! Give everyone electricity & let them pay for what they consume. Another hike?? Kuku put a rope on our necks."
Her comments reflect growing concerns over rising utility costs in the country.
