Filmone’s new drama-thriller, “Farmer’s Bride,” stars Tobi Bakre and Gbubemi Ejeye and is set to hit cinemas on September 27th. The film blends love, betrayal, and supernatural elements, creating a gripping story.
Directed by Adebayo Tijani and Jack’enneth Opukeme, the movie also features Femi Branch, Mercy Aigbe, Efe Irele, and Wunmi Toriola.
Set in 1980s Ibadan, the story revolves around Funmi, a young woman who is forced to marry Odun, a wealthy but lonely farmer. Despite being bound by duty, Funmi's heart is elsewhere. As she struggles with a life she didn’t choose, she faces a tough decision between a man she doesn’t love and another who ignites her passion, leading to a choice with potentially deadly outcomes.
