Big Brother Naija star Neo Akpofure has admitted he was once a taxi driver before rising to fame. Sharing his humble beginnings on social media, Neo posted a throwback photo on his official X account, sparking a heated debate among fans and followers.
The photo shows Neo sitting alongside popular musician MC Galaxy during his days as a Bolt driver in Calabar, just five years ago. Neo recounted how the chance encounter with MC Galaxy, who wanted bush meat and palm wine from a local spot called Atimbo, turned into a memorable evening that profoundly impacted his perspective on life.
“Five years ago, I was still driving a Bolt in Calabar when I picked up MC Galaxy and his friend. He was craving bush meat and palm wine from somewhere called Atimbo. We enjoyed it together before I dropped them off at the airport,” Neo wrote.
Reflecting on his journey from a taxi driver to a reality TV star, Neo added, “Fast forward to today, I look back and see how far I have come. If I had given up on my dreams then, na me for fuck up.”
