The first nomination show for BBNaija Season 9 took place on Monday, leaving five pairs of housemates up for possible eviction this Sunday. The pairs at risk are Beta, Chekas, DoubleKay, Wanni x Handi, and Zinwe. At least one pair will be evicted during the upcoming live show.
This follows recent adjustments to the rules of the game by the show's organizers. On Sunday, host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu announced significant changes, including the abolition of the Custodian Challenge and the HOH ballot. Additionally, housemates no longer have the power to vote out the bottom four pairs.
Biggie has also reinstated immunity for the Head of House (HOH), though the HOH can no longer "save and replace" a nominated pair. Under the new rules, pairs now nominate each other for eviction, while viewers have the final say in who leaves the house through their votes.
