Popular crossdresser Idris Okuneye, known as Bobrisky, has been released from prison.
Bobrisky was convicted by the EFCC on April 5 for mutilating naira notes. He faced four charges related to naira abuse and pleaded guilty before Justice A.O. Awogboro of the Federal High Court in Lagos.
Bobrisky was released on Monday, August 5, 2024. He was seen in a video with friends, celebrating to the song "Egwu" by Mohbad and Chike. His friends were heard saying, "We are out of prison. Congratulations, Bobrisky."
