Nigerian singer Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has addressed rumors about his involvement in the End Bad Governance protest that began on August 1, 2024. The music star took to social media to explain his reasons for not participating in the protest.
In a series of tweets, the Grammy-winning artist insisted that he had never accepted money from any politician. He specifically called on Nigerians to question FCT minister and former Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike, about any supposed gifts of money or land.
Burna Boy tweeted: "No politician has ever given me anything. Go ask Wike where the land he gave me is or what money he gave me. You think I’m your fave."
