Tottenham Hotspur is set to compete with Chelsea in the race to sign Napoli’s star striker, Victor Osimhen, as they look to replace Harry Kane.
According to Punch, Spurs are keen on the 25-year-old Nigerian international.
Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou is eager to sign a new striker this summer, with Osimhen being a top target. Osimhen joined Napoli in 2020 for a record €77.5 million and has been impressive in Serie A, especially during the 2022-23 season. Reports suggest he is looking to leave Napoli, creating an opportunity for Premier League clubs.
Chelsea has already started talks with Napoli, proposing a cash-plus-player deal that includes Romelu Lukaku. In response, Tottenham is considering offering their own players in an attempt to secure Osimhen’s transfer.
