Nigerian music star, Burna Boy has called on his fans and other Nigerians not to involve him in the ongoing #EndBadGovernance protest.
The protest commenced today August 1 in different parts of the nation, with its focus on demanding a better economy and government policies. The protest is slated for ten days.
Burna, who has been a vocal advocate for good governance in his songs was tagged to lend his voice to the protests and in turn, the singer said he has no fight left in him.
The artist revealed that his zeal for activism waned on October 10, 2020, following the events of that period.
In a recent social media post, Burna Boy reiterated his previous sentiments, stating, "The fight in me died on this day. Ogun go doggy anybody wey call my name this time around."
Known for his powerful lyrics and activism, Burna Boy's decision has sparked conversations among his followers and fellow advocates. While his absence from the protest is notable, the #EndBadGovernance movement continues to gather momentum across the nation.
