Nigerian rapper Falz has made a shocking confession that’s shaking up social media: he has never been in love and has never uttered the words “I love you” to anyone. In a candid interview on the Menisms Podcast, Falz revealed that he has never reached a point in any relationship where such deep emotional expressions were made.
“I’ve never really said I love you to anybody. I’ve never been in love; I have never gotten to that level of emotional commitment and they’ve not said it to me sha,” Falz disclosed. “You know there is a level in a relationship where it’s like, ‘Oh, I love you, baby, I love you too.’ I’ve never gotten there.”
Falz claims he’s always honest about his feelings from the start of a relationship. “I’ve just not made the commitment,” he continued. “I’ve always been upfront about my feelings and my disposition and commitment early on, so we’re usually on the same page.”
The rapper’s startling admission has sparked a heated debate: Is Falz being brutally honest, or is he using his “upfront” approach as a shield to avoid real emotional intimacy? During a previous interview, Falz confessed he has been single since 2008, attributing it to a mix of reasons and a personal rollercoaster ride of emotions.
“My last relationship was in 2008; I was 18 years old precisely. It’s not like I’m running away; it’s just been like a rollercoaster, a couple of different things for a couple of different reasons. It keeps changing, and I just haven’t felt ready.”
As fans and critics dissect his words, the question remains: Is Falz genuinely not ready for love, or is he perpetually dodging commitment
