Nigerian filmmaker Kunle Afolayan is in Ghana scouting locations for the new season of his series, Anikulapo.
He announced his plans to film parts of the series in Ghana in May and has now shared photos of his location scouting trip.
Afolayan is partnering with Juliet Yaa Asantewa Asante, CEO of Ghana's National Film Authority, for the international collaboration. Asante invited filmmakers to come and shoot in Ghana, showcasing its beautiful scenery and facilities.
The first season of Anikulapo was filmed entirely in Nigeria with a cast and crew of 600. The new season is expected to feature a mix of Nigerian and Ghanaian talent, highlighting the beauty of both countries.
The cast for the series includes Kunle Remi, Bimbo Ademoye, Sola Sobowale, Adebayo Salami, Layi Wasabi, Moji Afolayan, Aisha Lawal, Ronke Oshodi, Jide Kosoko, Adeniyi Johnson, Funky Mallam. Ogogo Taiwo Hassan Eyiyemi Afolayan, Lateef Adedimeji, Uzee Usman, Gabriel Afolayan, and Owo Ogunde.
