Nigerian singer D'banj has released a new single "Worthy", featuring Youssou N'Dour and Chechi Sarai.
This track theme uses romantic love as a metaphor for the artists' love for Africa.
Accompanied by the single is the music video, shot in Dakar and Lagos. It showcases a cross-cultural blend of music, culture, and scenery, with a cameo by football legend El Hadji Diouf.
"Worthy" is the fourth single from D'banj's upcoming album, "Entertainer—The Sequel", out on August 9.
According to the Koko master, the song is a message of hope and unity for Africans worldwide, emphasizing the potential of a united Africa to lead the world. The song was co-written by Olamide and produced by Eskeez, with visuals directed by Clarence Peters.
