Spanish midfielder, Andrés Iniesta is set to announce his retirement from football.
Iniesta shared a teaser on his X account on Tuesday, writing, “Coming soon 8/10/24,” sparking widespread anticipation among fans and the football community.
Over a remarkable career spanning more than two decades, Iniesta made 674 appearances for Barcelona’s senior team, scoring 57 goals and providing 135 assists.
The Spanish midfielder was instrumental in leading the Blaugranas to 32 major trophies, including nine La Liga titles, four UEFA Champions League titles, and six Copa del Rey crowns.
