Nigerian music star, 2Baba and his partner, Natasha Osawaru, were seen together on Wednesday at the Edo State Governorship Election Tribunal in Abuja.
The tribunal is set to rule on a petition filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate, Asuerinme Ighodalo, challenging the victory of Monday Okpebholo of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the September 2024 election. Natasha, a PDP member and the deputy majority leader of the Edo State House of Assembly, was accompanied by 2Baba as she arrived at the tribunal.
A viral video captured the couple receiving a warm welcome from lawmakers present at the session.
2Baba and Natasha have been in the spotlight since the singer announced his separation from Annie Idibia in January. Shortly after, he confirmed his relationship with Natasha and, in February, proposed to her while maintaining that their relationship was not linked to his split from Annie.
Recently, Natasha updated her Instagram bio to reflect the singer’s surname, now identifying as “Honourable Natasha Idibia.” Her move came after Annie reverted to her maiden name, “Annie Uwana Macaulay.”
